Bantay Puno 2013

I don’t consider myself a tree huger, but I do appreciate trees around me especially if they don’t cause any harm to anyone. So when I saw this lone and young Agoho tree (?) along Alegre street, in front of Sorsogon National High School, I decided to document every tree that I see in Sorsogon City.

Every year or two, I will take a picture of the same tree every time I have a chance.  I am sure I can’t cover all trees but better than nothing at all. A tall order, but it’s worth a try. Basi two generations from now, larawan na lang an igwa sinda.

Finally, I hope the local government and the rest of the Sorsogonanons will keep these trees for the next generations to come.
