Driving from Manila to Sorsogon (DPWH Highway Markers)

When driving along national or provincial highways, yellow markers can be seen along the right side of the road if you are driving towards south; thus, if you are driving towards north, one has to check out his left for the marker.

89 kilometers south of Luneta and 6 kilometers away from Tiaong, Quezon.

How does one read a marker:

  • The upper number refers to the distance between Luneta (just in front of Rizal Park monument) and the marker.
  • The single (sometimes double) letter refers to the first letter of the next town.
  • The number below the letter is the distance between that marker and the zero marker of the specific town.
