Interesting Historical Statistic, c. 1913

According to the Report of the Governor General on 1913, there’s one school built in Sorsogon as of December 31. The author knows several schools that dated back during the American occupation, mostly in the former town of Sorsogon – Sorsogon Pilot Elementary School, Burabod Elementary School, Sorsogon College of Arts and Trade and Sorsogon Provincial High School. But the author doesn’t know what date these schools were founded. Moreover, there were schools founded on the same period located in other towns since education wasn’t really a monopoly of the town of Sorsogon.

Any information would be appreciated.
