First Class Road in Sorsogon, c. 1913

The author found this article in Report of the governor general of the Philippine Islands, 1915. The whole report is stored in University of Michigan.

Based on the report, Sorsogon has 2.5km of first class road.

And how much does it cost to build a road back then?

Interestingly, the cost of road in Sorsogon is way higher on those provinces that are now more prosperous than the said province.

Interesting though, it states a Caminero system!
