The Rice Mill Which Understands Value Chain

One of the landmarks along the Cawayan River in Barayong is the rice mill along the river bank. Normally, someone would expect an access (in the minimum a dirt) road toward the rice milll. But not in this case – the access road is a foot trail out of the water barriers made of mud.

My first impression was – the owner knows something about value-chain management. He basically built the rice mill where the farmers are! Thus, providing more value to those ordinary rice mills along the road.
